Toboggan Jump Huippu Napsahtava
Inspired by televised winter sporting events from the '70s and the old look classic videogames by Atari, this project puts a humorous spin on a classic game interface. Sent as a holiday gift, it also does double duty as a promotional piece. The farcical sport of toboggan jumping was created to heighten the game's comical, playful nature. Combined with animated characters who crash and burn on impact, a voiceover of a cynical sports announcer and a competition that's unwinnable, the effect is fun, entertaining and irreverent. Unlike other games that require complex user control, the simple interaction of this one makes it much more fun to play. The message: It's not about winning, it's about playing and keeping a sense of humor.
