DHL tracking numbers
How does the DHL tracking number look like?
The tracking number for a package shipped through DHL is usually a 8-15 digit code that can consist of letters, numbers or hyphens – depending on the shipping options.
Where do I find the DHL tracking number?
The DHL package tracking number can be found in a few different places, depending on how the package was shipped. If you shipped it yourself then look for your receipt or shipping confirmation email and if someone else sent something to you they should have given this information as well.
DHL tracking FAQ
Why is the DHL tracking not updating for a long time?
When you haven’t heard from your package in a long time, there’s likely something wrong. The tracking status may be outdated or customs might have issues with their handling of the shipment which means it will take even longer for them to arrive! If this happens contact DHL directly so they can help track down what happened and get things resolved as quickly possible.
Please contact the carrier’s customer support for assistance, they should have more info about your package and can investigate this matter further.
The tracking says my package was delivered, but I didn’t receive anything.
If you’re not home to receive your packages when they arrive, then maybe they were left with a neighbor or at the post office nearby. They might also have delivered it to an incorrect address – in this case please contact the DHL support.
How long does the DHL delivery take?
When shipping within the same country, your package will should be delivered to its destination within 2-4 business days. If it’s an international shipment and needs customs clearance before being deliverable though (which can take anywhere from 1 to 14 days!), expect that this process might add another week or so.
